Zone3 invented floating shorts in 2007 to help improve swimming technique naturally and efficiently.
The original model was made using a 5/3mm thick Smoothskin material. To further increase buoyancy and maintain high elasticity Zone3 has developed this model called "The Premium Option".
By using 3mm Yamamoto #39 SCS on the front and back panels Zone3 have been able to achieve a softer, lighter and more flexible fit, while the 5mm Aerodome side panels offer 30% more buoyancy than standard neoprene.
