First Stage 82X
The 82X first stage is forged from brass, chrome plated and finished with a "pearl blast" surface. Featuring a balanced diaphragm membrane designed to ensure advanced and reliable performance at any depth.
The 82X features a rotating turret with five low pressure ports (4 radial and 1 vertical) to suit everyone's needs, including advanced or technical divers. All LP ports feature Mares' patented Dynamic Flow Control (DFC) for high and constant airflow at all depths.
OPD (Optimized Port Design): Another unique feature of this first stage is two pre-oriented high pressure (HP) ports, angled opposite each other. The first stage can be positioned with the swivel turret facing up or down, offering maximum freedom of choice.
The 82X first stage features the Mares Auto-Sealing Technology (AST) system, which provides excellent protection against the intrusion of water or unwanted substances. A very simple mechanical solution keeps the internal mechanism dry and free from obstructions, thus providing superior reliability.

Second Stage Ultra Adj
The Ultra Adj second stage is constructed from a new ultra-lightweight and ultra-resistant technopolymer. The Vortex Assisted Design (VAD) allows for unobstructed airflow and constant natural breathing at any depth. The innovative Twin Power System offers additional adjustments, allowing the diver to control the speed of the airflow. A simple twist increases the airflow on demand; designed for a diver who performs very deep dives. The Ultra Adj second stage is pneumatically balanced with the PAD (Pneumatical Assisted Design) system, which offers comfortable and effortless breathing in every situation.
The combination of the PAD and Twin Power systems, combined with the ability to adjust breathing effort, provides the best performance with maximum comfort in all conditions at any depth.
A Superflex hose connects the first stage to the second stage and provides support and flexibility for comfortable diving.
